The Series 1780 test stand allows you to test up to 75 kgf of thrust per propeller in single motor or coaxial configuration. The stand is used with the RCbenchmark software, which allows you to record key data such as thrust, torque, RPM, power, motor efficiency, propeller efficiency, and system efficiency.

Test Different Drone Designs
Designed for testing heavy-lift drones
The single rotor configuration allows you to test one propeller at a time. This is perfect for optimizing any single-propeller drone design such as a classic quadcopter or fixed wing.
The coaxial back-to-back rotor configuration allows you to test two propellers simultaneously. This setup let's you optimize coaxial quad-copters, hexacopters and octocopters.
The coaxial face-to-face rotor configuration allows for the testing of two propellers simultaneously without distance restrictions between the propellers.
The coaxial face-to-face rotor configuration can be used with an offset between the two propellers. This configuration allows you to compare multiple coaxial designs.

Propeller efficiency depends on multiple factors such as diameter, pitch, and propeller material. The Series 1780 can be used as a propeller test stand to test and characterize your propeller's efficiency.
Our largest test stand, the Series 1780 - 75 kgf, allows you to test propellers up to 70 inches (1.70 meters) in diameter.

The Series 1780 load cell has been specially designed for brushless motor and propeller testing for the drone industry. Our motor mounting plate supports the use of all kinds of electric motors.
The load cells have been mounted in a tripod configuration to maximize space and optimize aerodynamic properties. The Series 1780 load cell can measure up to 75 kgf of thrust and 48 Nm of torque per propeller.
Propulsion Measurement Software
100% open source data acquisition software
The Series 1780 thrust stand comes with the open-source RCbenchmark data acquisition software. The software allows you to write scripts for custom automatic testing. You can also interface your software by using a UDP connection. This features will allow you to design and perform any kind of automated test. We also provide pre-written scripts to demonstrate what kinds of tests you can do.
