What Kinds of Tests Can I Perform?

  • Constant thrust test - use a proportional integral derivative (PID) script to study performance at constant thrust
  • Mechanical endurance test - continuous operation to determine when components will fail
  • Fatigue test - demonstrate the endurance of your system under cyclic loads
  • Environmental endurance test - test performance in a warm or cold environment

Why Perform Endurance Testing

  • Determine the useful life of components
  • Create accurate technical documents
  • Improve safety and reliability
  • Gather data for drone certification

How to Perform an Endurance Test

1. Open the RCbenchmark software and go to the 'Automatic Control' tab

2. Select the script, “Custom steps sequence” and clone it

3. Edit the throttle points, hold times, and the number of test cycles

4. Click 'Run' and watch as your data comes in live, then export it to .CSV
