Tyto Robotics Inc. operates according to the conditions described in this section. If you visit and shop on tytorobotics.com, you accept these conditions. Tyto Robotics Inc. reserves the right to modify at any time and without notification its website and its sales policies. If you are not in agreement with one or many of these conditions, please do not use our services in any way.
All information, images, descriptions, applications, demonstrations or programming examples contained on this website are presented for instructional value and do not guarantee suitability for any precise objectives. Although Tyto Robotics Inc. does everything possible to provide the best information possible, it can not guarantee that this information is just and precise and assumes no responsibility for omissions or errors. Furthermore, Tyto Robotics Inc. assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from the use of the material contained on its website, or for transgressions of copyrights and/or intellectual property from a third party relative to the use of said material.
Tyto Robotics Inc. products are of good quality and reliable when operated as intended. Tyto Robotics Inc. warns against the use of their products in an application, in a medical tool or system, in any domestic, commercial or industrial product where an error could result in harm or even death of a human being or an animal.
The primary responsibility for the use or operation of our products in the presence of human beings falls on the user. Spinning propellers are very dangerous and should be enclosed in a properly designed safety cage.
Stay safe! You must understand all the risks related to the equipment you are operating. Make sure to follow all instructions provided in the user manuals of the products you are using.
One Year Limited Warranty: Tyto Robotics Inc. warrants its products against defects in material and craft. Under typical use and service, every hardware portion of the products should be free from physical defects in material and assembly during the warranty period of one year, or the hardware will be repaired or replaced as determined solely by Tyto Robotics Inc. We provide a limited warranty for products only to the person or entity that originally purchased the product from Tyto Robotics Inc. or its authorized distributor or retailer. If a product does not operate as warranted above during the applicable warranty period, Tyto Robotics Inc. shall, at its option and expense, repair the defective product or part and deliver to the customer an equivalent product or part to replace the defective item.
The customer shall pay for the return shipment of the equipment to Tyto Robotics Inc. for repair. Please contact us for instructions for how to prepare and declare your shipment. If the customer fails to follow our instructions, they may be responsible for any resulting duties. Tyto Robotics Inc. will cover the cost of the return shipment and duties if the repair is deemed to be under warranty.
Warranty does not apply, if:
- The warranty period of 1 year is expired,
- The warranty label is broken or removed,
- The serial number is missing or unrecognizable,
- The calibration seal is broken,
- The product has been modified or repaired by any unauthorized service center or personnel,
- The product casing has been opened without authorization from Tyto Robotics Inc., including the removal of the safety screws on the force measurement unit,
- The product was subject to abuse, improper use not conforming to product manual instructions, or environment conditions more severe than those specified in the manual and product specifications. This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by: sudden motor cut-offs not caused by the Tyto Robotics software, equipment not being secured properly, deliberately operating the tool at the resonance frequency, and exceeding the rated limits of the product provided in the datasheet.
-The product was subject to Force Majeure, such as acts of God, flood, lightning, earthquake, war, vandalism, theft, brownouts or sags (damage due to low voltage disturbances).
Additionally, any overdue balances must be paid in full before a warranty repair is fulfilled.
If warranty coverage is not available, Tyto Robotics Inc. may provide a quote for the necessary repair services to be completed at the customer’s expense.
Over the past few years we have discontinued several products to make way for new product lines. It is unfortunately infeasible to support these products indefinitely, so we have set the following end dates for support and repairs:
Series 1520 thrust stand: support ends on Oct 31, 2024.
Series 1780 thrust stands: support ends on Sept 30, 2025.
If you would like to trade-in your Series 1780 for a newer Flight Stand thrust stand, you may be eligible for a discount. Contact our sales team to request a quote.
We ship from Canada and Switzerland. For international orders, you may have duties, taxes and/or customs fees charged upon delivery. These fees vary from country to country. You are responsible for paying these fees. If you refuse to pay them upon delivery, your package will be returned to us. Upon receipt, we will refund your product minus shipping fees for both ways. For more information, we strongly advise you to check with the customs department in your country about its import policies. We do not declare lower package values on the customs forms.
We usually ship orders of Tyto Robotics Inc. products in one or two business days. In rare cases, some orders cannot ship within two business days. If that is the case, you will be notified by email with the most up to date information. We close during statutory holidays in QC, Canada: https://www.statutoryholidays.com.
Other information:
- You will receive a tracking number by email after your order ships.
- Shipping time estimates are in business days.
- The shipping prices you see are obtained in real-time from the carrier APIs and are calculated based on destination, package size, and weight.
- You can use your shipping account with your preferred carrier. Please contact us with your carrier information before ordering.
Tyto Robotics Inc. is an authorized distributor for WindShape and their exclusive distributor for Canada, the USA, South Korea, and India. WindShape is the company behind the Windshaper - a modular open wind tunnel made in Switzerland. In this partnership, Tyto Robotics Inc. oversees Windshaper sales and logistics, ensuring a smooth process for customers. WindShape concentrates on the manufacturing of the Windshapers and provides comprehensive post-purchase support.
Due to the international nature of our business, all prices indicated are in United States dollars ($USD). The prices indicated do not include taxes (if applicable) or shipping fees. We reserve the right to change our prices, without notice, in function of supplier price changes, exchange rates, inflation, and other factors. For your convenience, we provide a currency calculator, but you will be charged in $USD during checkout.
To our Canadian customers, we will be more than happy to provide a quote in $CAD for simpler payment options. Contact us before placing an order.
All items shipped to destinations in Canada are subject to Canadian Goods and Services Tax (“GST”) at 5%. Also, the following might apply, depending on the item and the destination of the shipment:
New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island: HST at 15% (including GST portion)
Ontario: HST at 13% (including GST portion)
Quebec: TVQ at 9.975% (excluding GST portion)

These taxes do not apply for orders outside of Canada, but you may have duties, taxes and/or customs fees charged upon delivery. These fees vary from country to country. Some of our products can be ordered online using our e-commerce solution. If ordering online, we support PayPal and credit card payment methods.

Windshaper orders are custom and therefore, non-refundable. If cancelled before shipping, Flight Stand and RCbenchmark products and accessories will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee. After shipping, due to the significant costs of calibration and order preparation, orders are not refundable.
You may send us your product for repair or re-calibration. Please contact us with details about your requirements and we will provide you with a quote for the return shipping, parts, and estimated labour time.
We generally do not provide custom design services.
Refunds will be processed according to our cancellation procedure above. We will refund the same payment method that was used to pay the order.
Tyto Robotics Inc. takes the security of our e-commerce website very seriously. We keep our software up-to-date. All payments made on our site by credit card are processed via proven payment gateways provided by Shopify, PayPal or Stripe. We never see or store any credit card information as it is handled directly by the payment gateway. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for more details.

When you place an order at tytorobotics.com, your email address is collected to send you a copy of your invoice and a tracking number during delivery of your purchase. This email address is kept in our database to serve you better. We will never sell or publish your email address to a third party.

The majority of our pages use ‘cookies’ providing us vital information on navigation, purchase statistics, entry and exit pages on our website, origins of user traffic, and other metrics.
