Drontep Improves Agricultural Drone Thrust

Drontep used the RCbenchmark Series 1585 test stand to address motor thrust issues in their agricultural drone project. Here’s their account of how the tool helped them reach their performance goals.

“Our drone is used for insecticide spraying to increase crop production, and monitoring crop growth. Sensors and digital imaging capabilities can give farmers a richer picture of their fields.

We are working on our first prototype and we have been having a lot of problems concerning motor issues related to motor thrust and the difference between actual engine values and the nominal values.

This issue caused us a real barrier until we started using the test stand. We have tested multiple motors and propellers and those tools made our work really easy!”
